BIOGRAPHY
Vynce Leff is a filmmaker, composer, and musician whose work blends fantasy, supernatural fiction, and symphonic storytelling.
He began his career as a musician, releasing dozens of albums in the progressive, metal, and symphonic genres over the years and earning several distinctions along the way, including the Best French Symphonic Metal Band Award and winning the Metal Female Voices Fest Contest in 2008. He directed his first music video in 2013 and has since created ten more, all within the fantasy genre, exploring worlds ranging from ancient Egypt to modern times, from medieval realms to post-apocalyptic landscapes.
As a composer, he has also written music for several short films and series in France and the United States, notably the fan film series Highlander: Dark Places and the feature film Flathead. In 2022, he took part in the Indie Film Music Contest, where his rescore of Time Trap achieved 7th place in the international competition.
In 2025, he produced his first fantasy short film, Aube, which was officially selected for the Fantasy Film Festival Paris 2026 and won the Best Fantasy Film Award. He is currently developing the supernatural thriller and modern fantasy series The Witness, while continuing to compose orchestral and symphonic music for film and television projects, as well as for the next album by his symphonic metal band Whyzdom.
